Modernization for Global Provider of Integrated Communications
Conversion of 120 apps to open systems architecture, flexible code and platform to ensure our client is ready to accept new technologies and communication enhancements without work redundancy.
Fortune 500 company that provides print and related services. The company is a global provider of integrated communications for more than 60,000 customers worldwide.
The clients’ systems were running on Legacy platforms (including mainframes). This provided to be too rigid when maintaining the customer communication needs of their clients. Our client was spending valuable time and money rewriting the code in order to add communication enhancements. Furthermore, an application was tied to a specific facility, which required recoding to produce at another, due to the inflexibility of the Legacy applications and mainframe. Talk about repetitious, redundant and even unnecessary. The additional time it was taking to meet client demand was costing 30 million dollars annually.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS – HOW AN OPTIMUM COMMUNICATION SERVICES PROVIDER IS EARNING SMART MONEY.
Saggezza helped our client to innovate, develop new business models and answer the question: how can technology change your business? We conducted a strategic review of over 300 systems across all of the client’s business. Our team then implemented a flexible code platform (open systems) to ensure our client is ready to accept new technologies and communication enhancements without work redundancy.
Working with Saggezza, our client was able to convert their applications at nearly five times the rate as competitor’s estimates. This led to improved customer facing communications and service levels.
